A historic Roman theater located just north of Lyon's downtown is known as Teatro Galo-Romano (also known as Théâtre Gallo-Romano). Theater Galo-Romano was originally part of an industrial complex designed by Italian architect Giuseppe Galli Bibiena in the style of ancient Roman theaters such as Pompeii's Theater and Herculaneum's Odeon.
